How Can You Use Jasmine Flowers and Essential Oil?

• Tea. Like many other relaxation herbs, jasmine flowers are commonly used in different types of herbal, green and oolong teas. They provide a light, flowery taste that helps you relax. Sometimes, jasmine flowers are rolled with green or oolong tea leaves to form Jasmine Pearls, as shown below. These pearls open up when hot water is added and the aroma and flavor of these relaxation herbs are delicate and well appreciated.

• Essential Oil. Jasmine essential oil used to be called a "love potion". Its aphrodisiac properties are well-known and it can also improve your mood and sense of well-being.   This essential oil is great for people dealing with, apathy or depression. Jasmine combines very well with ylang ylang, neroli, clary sage and sandalwood.

Note: Jasmine essential oil may not be suitable during pregnancy because of its emmenagogue properties.
