My relaxation book of the month for May 2008 is Cuba Strait : A Novel by Carsten Stroud. This was my first experience with one of Carsten Stroud's books and I was really impressed. I found this book very gripping and edgy. Definitely a good page-turner. It's the story of Rick Broca, a thirty-something cop who has been forced to retire. His character is charismatic and believable and, although his dark side is quite prominent, he is definitely a good guy. He happened to witness a small plane in trouble in the middle of a storm and somehow ended up in the middle of political and violent circumstances involving Cuba. Strongly recommended. |
My non-fiction relaxation book of the month for May 2008 is Trump University Wealth Building 101: Your First 90 Days on the Path to Prosperity by Donald Trump. Whether you like him or hate him, you probably have some opinion about Mr. Trump. I admire him for his great financial success and perhaps you can learn to emulate him by learning a few things from his "Trump University". I know I certainly learned a few things by the time I closed the cover of this book. The chapters in this book were written by different millionaires and they were written with the average person in mind, so it's clear and to the point. If you are dealing with a lot of debts, this book contains an effective +10% technique that has proven to work for many people. This book contains very good financial information that deserves to be heard and understood by everyone. |
