Of course, I only publish comments relevant to the books that I recommend but if you have a suggestion for a book of month, let me know and I'll start reading right away.
My fiction relaxation book of the month for July 2008 is Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. This Canadian author is amazingly gifted at stringing words together to create a story. This particular novel is about Snowman, a man living amongst different people, the "children of Crake and Oryx", in our world, but in a different time. Technology has come and gone. As chapters alternate between present and past, the reader finds out about Snowman's life on the beach and how it all came to be this way. Amazing Novel. |
My non-fiction relaxation book of the month for July 2008 is the The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Are you ready to be blown away? What if you could discover the secret to getting everything you want in life? This book provides you with the answer to all of your problems. What is it? It's the law of attraction. There is no end to what is available for you in the universe. This secret used to be kept by the "higher ups" centuries ago and they did not want everyone to have access to it. Now you can discover the secret and get everything you want. You simply have to ask. Highly recommended. |
