Have you been dreaming about building a home library? It can be a great place to go and relax while reading a captivating book?

There are many factors to consider when planning your home library. Here are a few that you should consider:

• Do you have the space (and money) to justify using an entire room as your home library?
• Do you want to use an entire wall or perhaps just a couple of shelves?
• Do you want to include a nice comfortable chair or perhaps a desk?
• Do you have adequate lighting in place?
• What about your current library of books? Do you intend on buying more, keeping your collection as is, or getting rid of some books that you don't intend on reading ever again?
• Do you intend on building a library yourself or hire a professional to do it for you?

Disadvantages to Having a Home Library

Of course, having your own library has some advantages and disadvantages. You'll have to purchase all of these books, and it all adds up!

If you ever decide to move, you'll be amazed at how heavy books are and how many you'll have accumulated over the years.

If you lend them to other people, it may be hard to keep track of who has your books.
