Aromatherapy Spray for Headaches

You can use an aromatherapy spray to help with a lot of ailments and bad moods. If you are suffering from a headache or migraine, some aromatherapy scents are believed to help relax tension and pressure. Aromatherapy essential oils have several aromatherapy benefits that scientists and herbalists have known about for years. Remedies for Headaches

Obviously, you could take some over-the-counter medication to help with your headaches, but if you want to try aromatherapy, here are a few ideas:

• Take a warm aromatherapy bath with 6 drops of orange blossom for a headache. If you have a migraine, try a warm bath with 6 drops of marjoram.

• Try massaging your temples with this recipe. Mix all ingredients first:
  
  
  • Lavender - 10 drops
  • Marjoram - 4 drops
  • Peppermint Essential Oil - 6 drops
  • Almond Oil - 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
• You can also create your own scented spray with this recipe. Send a few sprays in the room with a misting bottle and relax:
  
  
  • Chamomile - 3 drops
  • Lavender - 8 drops
  • Marjoram - 3 drops
  • Peppermint Essential Oil - 6 drops
  • Distilled or Spring Water - 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
