Site Build It!
My Experience So Far

A friend and co-worker convinced me to build my own website with the help of Site Build It!, a service he has been using for 4 years. He's got an amazing website (Stuff in the Air) and the idea of coming up with something like his site made me feel inadequate (to say the least). I didn't have any programming skills or any experience at all when it came to creating a website, but because of Site Build It's money-back guarantee, I decided to give it a try. If you are (or want to be) a stay-at-home mom, check out this information and download free documentation that can help you make money while working from home.

Here are a few videos that were made by other fellow SBIers. Perhaps you will see how SBI! can transform your life into your dream life. Check out the SBI TV for more information. A new window will open.

My goal: To earn enough money to be able to control my life instead of having work and money control me. I have a few travel plans in mind and an unfinished novel to work on. Unfortunately, working full-time doesn't give me enough time to do what I really want in life, so this is why I'm ready to transform my life with SBI!. Life is looking better by the minute!

Here's my story so far:

August 2006: My friend kept dropping hints about how he was working towards his retirement. He's not 40 yet... He gave me an overview of what he was doing and provided me with a copy of the Affiliate Master's Course available for free on the Site Build It! site. Here is your free copy. His main point (which took quite a while to sink in) is that I didn't need to have anything to sell to make money. By creating great content, advertisers would give ME money!

How so? The money could be from commission, clicks, leads, etc. All I had to do was select a topic that I felt passionate about and make useful information available to all. Google Adsense is probably one of the most popular affiliate programs out there. It doesn't cost you anything and they do all the hard-work of finding advertisers that are related to the content of your website. Google Adsense income will vary from one advertiser to the next, but I think it's quite reasonable and it all adds up quickly! If you're interested, check them out by clicking on the button below.

September 2006: I attempted to find a theme concept and keywords using the time consuming but free option suggested in the documentation I had.... Time consuming is an understatement. If you don't work and have 24 hours a day to spend looking for supply and demand for specific words, then you might be interested in doing all this work.

October 2, 2006: After many attempts at finding a decent concept idea, I finally decided to spend a little money and get the Site Build It! tools.

October 6, 2006: My homepage was created. What a great feeling that was...

October 31, 2006: In about a month, I created 34 pages. I sometimes had lazy days where I opted to watch television, but I also managed to get 5 pages done on a rainy Sunday. On average, I wrote 1 or 2 pages each evening.

November 4, 2006: Perhaps writing so many pages so fast was the main reason for the disappointing results at first. I kept checking my traffic stats, and how my pages were doing on the various search engines, and I got to say that they weren't doing too good. (But that wasn't unexpected... Site Build It! had informed me of that.) I joined the link exchange program to try and generate a bit more traffic. Lots of good sites out there...

November 11, 2006: I just checked my stats. They improved. Lots of pages have been spidered and listed. One link that was created through Site Build It! link exchange seems to bring in a few people, that's good. I finally understand what an RSS feed is, so I set it up as well as a newsletter. I need to keep adding content, but I also need to get more traffic. Time to focus on directory submissions.

December 2, 2006: I did it... I spent an entire Sunday submitting my URL to several free directories and I just submitted my 50th content page.

February 7, 2007: Well, time flies. I have been too busy to write as many pages as I wanted to, but I have just reached 75 pages. I started monetizing and traffic is slowly building up. Stats are also improving. And yeah, I almost forgot... I got rid of my PC and bought a Mac. Life is great. I also got the Firefox Browser (for free) to help with Site Build It compatibility issues. I like it and find it very easy to use. Check it out for yourself.

March 9, 2007: I have just reached a 100 pages. What a great feeling. My visitor count keeps increasing without me spending too much time at it. The links I exchanged a few months ago seem to be working!

June 16, 2007: Summer is already here! Only one season to go before my first year with Site Build It! comes to an end. My full-time job has been keeping me busy, so my website is struggling to make it past the hump at this point in time. However, the good news is that Ask Jeeves has listed my homepage. Slowly but surely my traffic is increasing. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to quit my day job next year... all thanks to Site Build It!

If you would like to find out more about Site Built It!, visit the SBI site. I'll keep you posted on my progress towards achieving my dream lifestyle. Are you ready to have SBI help you out? Check out this great video. SBI in a nutshell.
